Request a consultation for a healthy separation or divorce.

An initial consultation will leave you both with:

A Plan of Action. Create a clearly defined plan for resolution with your spouse and attorney-mediator.

Education. Know your options, rights and entitlements for your divorce proceedings.

Confidence.  Feel positive that you can successfully negotiate for yourselves and your children without retaining attorneys or going to court.

Specific benefits of an initial consultation with an attorney- mediator at Main Line Family Law Center:

  • Empower you both with legal knowledge around division of marital property, child support, custody, alimony and spousal support in PA.
  • Decide whether a separation or divorce agreement would be in your best interest right now.
  • Discuss how to reduce your costs and streamline the process, including paperwork filing.
  • Establish how to immediately get a plan for your children in place around custody and parenting in two households.
  • Fully assess your readiness to mediate, a crucial first step toward a successful mediation process.
  • Be advised on how our My Healthy Divorce® mediation process helps you both make fair and informed decisions for yourselves and your children.
  • Determine whether you would need to either hire a mediator or work out terms on your own to obtain a marital property settlement agreement.

Our initial consultation is NOT:

  • For one spouse only.  It's designed for spouses who are BOTH in agreement that they want either a separation or divorce agreement. (If not, we recommend you Schedule a free 30-min consultation with a divorce coach.).
  • A mediation session. The initial consultation is considered an essential first step toward successful mediation. Think of it as a preparation session.
  • Necessary for a simple divorce. You can start the process immediately. Take the Simple Divorce Quiz to see if your divorce is simple.
